Its benzyl alcohol preservative content allows for repeated vial access over an extended period typically studied up to 28 days without compromising solution sterility, making it a preferred solvent for researchers working with lyophilized investigational compounds. What should I do if my peptide vial appears clumped or the powder looks solid?
This is a normal characteristic of lyophilized peptide powders and does not indicate any reduction in compound quality or purity. Peptide powders may shift between a free-flowing and compacted form during transit due to minor pressure or temperature changes. The appearance of the powder does not affect its analytical integrity.
